Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply when you use MediHealth Direct and the treatments we provide.
Last updated: 3 August 2026
1. About these terms
These terms and conditions govern your use of the MediHealth Direct website and the services we provide. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by them. Please read them carefully.
MediHealth Direct is a GPhC-registered online pharmacy operating in the United Kingdom.
2. Eligibility
To use our services you must be at least 18 years old, a UK resident, and able to enter into a legally binding contract. By placing an order you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Consultations and clinical decisions
All treatment requests are subject to review by a GPhC-registered pharmacist. We may decline to supply a treatment if our clinicians consider it unsafe or unsuitable for you, and we are under no obligation to provide a reason beyond protecting your health.
Our service is not a substitute for emergency care. If you have an urgent medical concern, contact NHS 111 or, in an emergency, call 999.
4. Orders, pricing and payment
- Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- For treatments that need a clinical review, your card is authorised at checkout but not charged. Payment is only collected once a prescriber or pharmacist approves your consultation. If your treatment is not approved, the authorisation is released and you pay nothing.
- If a card authorisation expires before our review completes, the order is cancelled without charge and we email you a link to pay again; your consultation remains valid.
- For over-the-counter products with no clinical review, payment is taken when you place the order.
- We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to refuse or cancel any order.
5. Subscriptions and recurring payments
Some treatments are available as a subscription plan: either a monthly rolling plan or a fixed-term plan (for example 3, 6 or 12 months) billed monthly. When you start a plan you agree to recurring monthly payments, and you confirm this agreement with a tick box at checkout.
- Your card details are stored securely by our payment provider. Your first month is authorised at checkout and only charged once a prescriber approves your consultation.
- Each later month is charged automatically to your saved card once your monthly check-in is approved, shortly before your next medication is dispatched. If you miss a check-in, your plan is paused and that month is not charged.
- Where your plan includes different doses in different months, the price for each month is shown at checkout and in your confirmation email, and the amount charged follows that schedule.
- You can cancel at any time from the Subscriptions section of your account or by contacting us. Cancelling a rolling plan simply stops future charges.
- Discounted fixed-term plans carry an early-cancellation adjustment (the clawback): if you cancel before the end of your term, the discount you received on months already delivered is charged back to your saved card, as set out in the policy shown at checkout. Cancelling at the end of your term is always free.
- We email you a confirmation of your plan and its payment terms when you enrol, so you always have a written record.
6. Your right to cancel (cooling off)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have a 14-day cooling-off period for most purchases made at a distance. To cancel, email hello@medihealthdirect.com with your order reference and a clear statement that you wish to cancel; no special form is needed.
- Before dispatch you can cancel any order for a full refund of sums paid. Consultation-based orders are not charged until approval, so cancelling before approval usually means no money has been taken at all.
- Prescription medicines are exempt from the cooling-off right by law, so they cannot be returned or refunded under it once dispatched. Other medicines are supplied sealed for health protection and hygiene reasons, and the right to cancel is lost if the seal is broken after delivery. Your statutory rights for faulty or incorrectly supplied items are unaffected.
- For non-medicinal products (for example supplements), you may cancel within 14 days of delivery and return the items unused and unopened for a refund. Return postage is your responsibility unless the item is faulty.
- Refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 days of your cancellation (or of us receiving the returned goods, where a return applies).
7. Delivery
We aim to dispatch approved orders promptly using tracked delivery. Estimated delivery times are shown for each courier at checkout; they are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
8. Returns and refunds
For safety reasons, medicines cannot be returned once dispatched unless they are faulty or supplied in error. If there is a problem with your order, contact us and we will put it right in line with your statutory rights.
9. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete medical information.
- Use treatments only as directed and read the accompanying patient information leaflet.
- Keep your account details secure and notify us of any unauthorised use.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under law. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to your use of the site. If you have any questions, contact us at hello@medihealthdirect.com.
12. Contracting entity, governing law and general terms
- Your contract is with MEDIHEALTH DIRECT LTD, a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 15745634), registered office: Unit 21, Armitage Business Park, Private Road No. 3, Colwick, Nottingham NG4 2TB, trading as MediHealth Direct, a GPhC-registered pharmacy (Reg No. 9012663).
- These terms and any contract between us are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales; if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
- If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in full force. If we delay in enforcing any term, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
This terms & conditions is provided for general information only and does not constitute legal advice. Please contact us if you have any questions.
